Robin Finney, PMHNP

Robin lived in Coos Bay, OR for over 17 years and has had a successful practice, Compass Rose Psychiatry, for 3 years. Robin also works along with Dr. Gerber as a provider on the Acute Psychiatric Unit of Bay Area Hospital.  Recently, Robin and her husband, Micah moved to Arizona where they are establishing a local practice. However, they have made a long term commitment to Coos County and intend to continue to see patients who live on the beautiful Southern Oregon Coast.

Robin has 17 years of experience in caring for patients of all ages and all conditions. Robin obtained her AAS of Nursing from Southwestern Oregon Community College, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Linfield College in McMinnville, OR.  Robin continued her education with a Master of Nursing in Education from the University of Mary in North Dakota, and a Post-Master’s in Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri.  Robin has a heart for those with major psychiatric illness as well as young women and families.

Outside of the office, Robin loves the beach, spending time in the garden, and learning the in’s and outs of high desert living. Robin and her husband, Micah have four adult children and four grandchildren. She ADORES her Grandson’s!
