Rachel Rainey, LCSW

Mental Health Therapist

Rachel Rainey obtained her bachelor’s degree in communication studies from Toccoa Falls College in 2017. She went on to receive her Master of Social Work in 2019 from the University of Georgia. She started her career in school based mental health seeing children and adolescents aged 5 -19 in Madison County Georgia. She then transitioned to seeing both youth and adults at a federally qualified health center located in Colbert, GA until 2024. Rachel moved to Oregon and began working for Waterfall Community Health Center in 2025. She currently works at the Waterfall North Bay Elementary Clinic seeing youth aged 5-18.

Rachel utilizes various therapeutic techniques to help her patients reach their goals. These include, but are not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, Art, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Exposure Response Prevention Therapy. She attended the International OCD Foundation’s Pediatric Behavioral Therapy Training Institute in 2025.

When not in session, Rachel enjoys combing the beach for rocks to tumble, video games, walking her two dachshunds, watching anime, and spending time with her husband.
