Jana Rivers-Norton, PhD

Dr. Jana Rivers-Norton is a registered Professional Counselor Associate with the state of Oregon and also is a Provisional Art Therapist.  She holds a doctorate in clinical psychology and a Master’s in Art Therapy with a Counseling Emphasis. After working as a college educator, academic advisor, and crisis interventionalist for over 30 years, Dr. Jana specializes in trauma-informed care, family relationships, conflict resolution, life transitions for children, adolescents, adults and senior citizens, and the ability to find emotional wellness through positivity and benefit finding including the use of the expressive arts, mindfulness, and other stress reduction strategies. She serves clients in Coos and Curry counties as well as through Telehealth.
