Isaac Moore, Professional Counselor Associate

Mental Health Therapist 

Isaac grew up in the suburbs of Seattle before traveling halfway around the world while serving in the Navy. He went to university at Boise State University, earning first a bachelor’s in psychology before proceeding to earn a master’s in counseling. Before coming to Waterfall Community Health Center, Isaac worked at a psychiatric hospital for 4 years functioning as a mental health technician, activity therapist, and case manager. Isaac strives to provide inclusive care primarily focusing on cognitive behavioral therapy.

A lifelong learner, Isaac loves the subjects of psychology, suicidology, and mindfulness and how to incorporate more practical mindfulness techniques and practices with the aim to reduce depression, anxiety, and trauma in life. Isaac lists his heroes and role models as Carl G Jung, Robert A Johnson, Thich Nhat Hanh, and Stephen King. In his spare time Isaac enjoys spending time with his partner either playing games or being outdoors; they enjoy tide pools, hiking, and camping. Isaac advocates for suicide prevention, improved access to mental health care for everyone, the environment, healthy living, and learning new hobbies.

Isaac is working towards licensure and is under the clinical supervision of counselor Meggan McLarrin, LPC.
