Dr. Jinxi Caddel, PhD, LPC, CADC

Jinxi is the owner of Black Sheep Therapy and is passionate about working with people who live offbeat lifestyles and find that non-conformity is their cup of tea. She welcomes all races, sexual orientations, gender identities/expressions, countries of origin, disabilities, ethnicities, and bodies, and provides a safe, compassionate, and collaborative space to help clients explore their past, celebrate their strengths, and work toward their futures. Jinxi has specialized training in both ADHD and Autism and is a Certified ADHD Specialist (ADHD-CCSP) and a Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (CASDCS). Her practice is trauma-informed and she uses an eclectic approach with modalities that are catered to each client’s needs. These may include strengths-based techniques, CBT, DBT (mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, interpersonal effectiveness), positive psychology, virtual reality therapy, art therapy, narrative therapy, and geek/gamer therapy.

Jinxi earned her master’s degree and doctoral degree (PsyD) in clinical psychology from California Southern University, with research specializations in sports psychology, eating disorders, positive psychology, the psychological benefits of tattoos, and addictive/compulsive behaviors. She is a licensed professional counselor (License #C7379) with the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists, and licensed CADC I [Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor (Cert. #20-09-10000)] in the state of Oregon.
