Megan Lucas, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Megan is a native of Coos County and graduate of North Bend High School.  She has worked in the area as a registered nurse since 2010.  Her nursing experiences include skilled nursing, home health and hospice nursing, contract nursing, psychiatric nursing, correctional nursing, and administrative nursing.  Megan obtained her first Masters of Science degree in Nursing Healthcare Leadership from Gonzaga University in 2021 and her second Masters of Science degree in the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program, also from Gonzaga University in 2024.  Megan was on the Dean’s List throughout her enrollment at Gonzaga University from 2018-2024 and has been a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honors Society since 2021.

Megan sees adult and geriatric patients and is passionate about utilizing both non-pharmaceutical and psychotherapeutic modalities as well as medication management to treat her patients.  She understands the healthcare gaps that come with living in a rural area and is committed to improving those gaps to better provide patient outcomes.  Megan believes in creating individualized care plans that value patient involvement, interprofessional collaboration, and evidenced-based practice.  Megan’s goal is for her patients to feel empowered to treat their illness through supportive education in a stigma free environment.

Megan enjoys spending time with her family and helping those in need.  Megan’s future goal is to continue her education in the mental health field, and she is determined to bring more education and resources regarding mental health to the Coos County area.
