Alfredo Velez is the Behavioral Health Director and a board-certified psychiatrist on the Behavioral Health team at Three Rivers Health Center (TRHC), which is owned and operated by the Confederated Tribes of Coos, Lower Umpqua and Siuslaw Indians.  Dr. Velez provides psychiatric services to adult patients which include diagnosis and treatment of mental health disorders.  Dr. Velez also speaks fluent Spanish.  He also has completed a yearlong training program in Psychedelic Psychotherapy through the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS).  Dr. Velez has a passion for helping people explore and understand their mental health challenges and uses a holistic approach that combines psychiatric treatment and coordination with therapists on the Three Rivers Team as well as in the community.
